Terms of Service

The short, honest version of the deal between you and Nopen. Last updated October 2026.

What Nopen does

Nopen builds websites from your description. During Open Beta, putting a site online and operating it autonomously — publishing, upkeep, and monitoring — are offered on a limited, best-effort basis and may require separate activation or be unavailable. You buy credits — through a monthly plan or a credit pack; a task spends credits only when it runs, for example a build. Connecting a plan-included custom domain is free, and routine upkeep such as uptime checks and self-healing runs at no charge; growth autopilot tasks are not available in this release. When a build fails its checks, the builder is sent the error and repairs it, a limited number of times. If it still can't be confirmed live, its credits are restored automatically once the check confirms it never went live; the dashboard and the failure email state the restore. For other charges, we aim to restore credits where a task can't be completed.

Your content and your sites

The sites Nopen builds for you are yours. You're responsible for what you ask it to build and sell — it must be legal and must not infringe anyone's rights. We screen prompts and may refuse or take down content that breaks the law or our policies.

The Acceptable Use Policy sets out exactly what Nopen will not build, and forms part of these terms. Using Nopen means agreeing to it.

Domains

When custom domains are enabled, you connect a domain your plan includes — Founder includes 1 custom domain a year, and Portfolio up to 3 — in the app at no charge. Buying a domain outside your plan is not available in this release, and no credits are charged for connecting an included domain. When Nopen buys a domain for you, it's registered through Nopen's own registrar account, not yours — you don't get registrar access or login credentials for it. Because Nopen holds the registration, keeping it renewed is Nopen's job, not something you can do yourself. We handle renewal for every domain we register for you, but a registration can still lapse — from a billing issue, a registrar problem, or Nopen discontinuing the service — and we can't promise that will never happen. Domain purchases spend real money and are not refundable once registered.

Included domains and renewals. A plan includes custom domains: Founder includes 1 custom domain a year, and Portfolio up to 3. While your plan is active, its included domains renew at no extra charge. If you cancel or downgrade and the plan no longer covers a domain, the next renewal happens only if you confirm it — it is paid in credits, currently 2 credits a year. Without your confirmation, the domain lapses when it expires. We remind you before expiry in the app and in the 30-day and 7-day renewal emails. Domains bought with credit packs are not affected: Nopen renews those at its own cost, as before.

Your site content is yours. The generated site source can be downloaded at any time with Export, and you can use it anywhere. Domains are registered in Nopen's own registrar account: Nopen does not transfer domains — to you or to anyone else — and we collect no registrant contact details. There is no ownership handover of a domain after six months or at any other time; to move your site to another host, export the source and rebuild from it.

Payments and payouts

Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Taking payments on your sites requires your own connected Stripe account and may be limited or need separate activation during Open Beta; when it is enabled, sales are collected in your Stripe account and settle directly to you, less any applicable Nopen platform fee and Stripe's payment-processing fees. Nopen never holds your balance. Credits come from a monthly plan, a credit pack, or both. A plan is a subscription: it renews every month at its listed price and grants its credits at the start of each billing month, until you cancel. A pack is a single purchase that does not renew. Billing is monthly only, and there is no trial. Prices, where shown, are in US dollars (USD) at checkout.

A Nopen platform fee may apply to sales. Payment processing fees apply.

Review the payment terms before enabling payouts.

Refunds and cancellation

Plans are subscriptions: you can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for — after that, nothing further is charged. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current month. Unused credits from a plan roll over for one month and then expire; credits from a pack never expire. Credit packs are single purchases that do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel there. Tasks spend credits only when they run; if a build can't be confirmed live, its credits are restored automatically after the check confirms it never went live, and we aim to restore credits for other charges where a task can't be completed. Restored credits go back to your balance; they are not paid out as cash. Nopen does not refund money for business outcomes — whether a site or business you build finds customers, earns revenue, or meets your goals is not grounds for a refund. Beyond that, credits, completed builds, and registered domains are delivered digital goods and are not otherwise refundable. Where consumer-protection law gives you a statutory refund right — for example the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases you have not yet used — that right applies; email hello@hasna.com to exercise it.

No guarantees of revenue

Nopen runs its routine upkeep — uptime checks and self-healing — automatically and at no charge; growth autopilot tasks are not available in this release. It does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and it does not and cannot guarantee customers, traffic, or revenue — that depends on your offer.

Termination

You can stop using Nopen at any time; archived sites stay live but unmaintained. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt fraud, or violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
